Word of the Week-Trees

Doing something a bit different with the word of the week-time to appreciate, recognize and enjoy the TREES in our lives!

Monday-check out the awesome colors of the season on the trees-do it today because the leaves are falling!

Tuesday-remember a time in the past when a tree was needed-a place to sit and ponder, a tree house to protect or a natural jungle gym to climb. Smile and enjoy the memory.

Wednesday-look at the fun facts out there about trees. Who knew?!

Thursday-save paper! Remember, each piece of paper of any kind was once a tree. Use sparingly and respect the tree!

Friday-hug a tree and get a picture of you doing it! The Tree Spirit Project is an interesting way to hug a tree too!

Maybe you are not the type to be a tree hugger, that’s ok. Just being aware and remember the importance of the nature that is surrounds us. It is our job to protect, respect and enjoy it. Do so this week and let me know how it goes by posting a comment on my blog!

It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men’s hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanates from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit. – Robert Louis Stevenson

  1. Love this post! I took a picture while we were in Chicago of all the leaves stuck to the sidewalk. They were so beautiful! I can't wait to share that picture!
