Word of the Week-Memory

In honor of Memorial Day I thought the word should be memory this week.
Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. -Kevin Arnold

Monday-take a moment to remember those you have paid for your freedom. A special moment in thanks.

Tuesday-I love this quote:
We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they’re called memories. Some take us forward, they’re called dreams. -Jeremy Irons
Remember some of your dreams today. What dreams can you make come true?

Wednesday-what is your favorite childhood memory? Try to remember the scene as vividly as possible, the sites, the smells, the people around you.

Thursday- search in your memory of the time you first met someone important in your life. How did they make you feel? Savor the memory.

Friday-What memories have you tried to forget? Why? I’ve never tried to block out the memories of the past, even though some are painful. I don’t understand people who hide from their past. Everything you live through helps to make you the person you are now. -Sophia Loren

Those who forget often have much to remember -Charity (I came up with this one after forgetting yet another thing, sigh) 🙂
