AKA ACTION BOARD!

A powerful and fun way to help your dreams become reality. It involves glue sticks too. What’s not to love?!

Directions for Vision Boarding

1. Gather magazines for ripping apart.

2. Choose a theme or specific area of your life to make your board about.

I chose family and home life. I want to see some positive changes in our living environment for all of the beings in our home.

It can be based on something specific you want to accomplish or it may be a general idea of everything that makes you smile.

3. Take a deep breath. Close your eyes an imagine what it would feel like to have whatever it is you are dreaming about. Got the feeling?!

4. Set a time for 15 minutes (maximum) and press start. This gives limit on your browsing and some urgency for completion. Open up your magazines and start ripping out any and all images that you are drawn to. Don’t ask why. Don’t overanalyze. Don’t get sucked in to the articles or advertisements. Just RIP with the feeling of your dream in your heart!

5. Place the images in a pile and walk away for a bit. Get a drink of water. Come back to it a little later. Allow some time to pass for settling.

6. Coming back. Repeat step 3. Spread out the ripped pics and take a look at them in their entirety. Notice any themes? Any duplicates?

What do your pictures say about your dreams?

7. Decide on the size your vision board. Think of where you are going to display it so you can gaze upon it daily. Find a piece of poster board, cardboard or cardstock to affix your dream pictures against.

8. Choose the pictures that speak most strongly to you and the ones you feel the most attraction.

9. Start arranging the pictures to fit the size of the paper you chose.

10. Glue the dreams down!

11. Embellish at will! Words, glitter and quotes are fabulous fun!

12. Hang your vision board in a place you will see every day.

13. Smile daily and envision your dreams!!

14. ACTION! Now go and make them happen!!!

I have made a Vision Board on Pinterest too. I prefer the fun of putting together a board with clippings and touching the artwork. But you try and choose!
